Jamie invited me to share photos of UK MCs on this site and that’s what I’ll do more or less regularly from now on.

I’ll start off with Tippa Irie. For one, people like him, Tenor Fly or Smiley Culture where the first MCs from the UK that I ever listened to. Another reason is that when I first came over from Germany to work on my photography portfolio, I didn’t know anybody in London. I approached a few of my favourite UK artists and Tippa Irie was among the first persons to get back to me. For that I am quite gratetful. These two pictures are from the first few rolls of film that I ever shot in London.
